I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a somewhat sobering tale of the hopes that an immigrant has in looking to capture the "American Dream" that most U.S. citizens take for granted from birth. As someone who knows virtually nothing about the immigration process in the United States, this was really an informative / eye opening book. You also can't help but empathize with the author as they made their way through a host of challenges and life problems that would test even the most persistent of souls. Its a fairly quick read and you'd be hard pressed to find a story like it elsewhere.Product details

Great book, written and told by a great person, who worked hard for everything that is in front of them! Definitely worth the read!
Great book especially for foreign students. Also good background information for expats and immigrants. It is also a good and informative read to understand the tragedy and joy experienced by somebody new to this country.
